How to reply to email from Slack

When you work in Slack, opening Gmail just to reply is a hassle. With SuccocoPon you can take a reply all the way to a draft inside Slack, and only open Gmail to review and send.

Five steps

  1. Connect Gmail and Slack: on the app's Connections page, connect your Google account and Slack workspace.
  2. Create a forwarding rule: on the Forwarding rules page, choose a Gmail label and the Slack channel to post to. Only emails with that label arrive.
  3. Ask AI for a draft: press "AI draft" on the post in Slack and AI writes a reply draft (or press "Write my own").
  4. Refine it in Slack: use "Edit" to change it yourself, or "Ask AI" with a request like "make it more polite".
  5. Save to Gmail and send: "Save to Gmail" makes it a Gmail draft. Use "Open in Gmail" to review it there, then send.

You always send from Gmail

SuccocoPon never sends email. A person always reviews the AI draft in Gmail before sending, and you check recipients and attachments in Gmail as usual.

Make drafts sound like you

Write your relationship with the recipient and the style you like under Tone instructions on the How you reply page, and drafts will sound more like you. See AI tips for examples.

How your data is handled

We don't store email bodies on our servers. The text of a draft you edit in Slack is deleted 30 days after its last edit. See the privacy policy for details.
